Dùng để nhắc rằng dù một người có vẻ khờ dại thì vẫn có người thân, người hiểu biết đứng sau chỉ bảo hoặc bênh vực. Biến thể này thay "cha" bằng "nó", nên nhấn vào chính đương sự tưởng là lú lấp chứ không phải cha của người ấy.

Used to remind people that even someone who seems foolish may still have a knowledgeable relative to advise or defend them. In this variant, the focus shifts directly onto the supposedly naive person rather than that person's father.
